Bio: Rick S. Fergerson, CPA, AIF® is the managing member and founder of Fergerson Financial LLC, an investment advisory firm.

Prior to Fergerson Financial LLC, Mr. Fergerson was with Franklin Templeton Investments for over ten years. He served as a senior vice president of Franklin Templeton Investor Services LLC and Franklin Distributors, Inc. focusing on all retirement related services. He was also a director/vice president in Franklin Templeton Companies, LLC focusing on the financial operations side of the business.

Mr. Fergerson is also a CPA and has ten years of public accounting experience, primarily with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Deloitte Touche. He was also a controller for over two years with Aesculap Instruments, Inc.

Mr. Fergerson received his bachelor or arts degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1983. He earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1988. He also earned the ACCREDIATED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ professional designation in 2005, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. He is a current member of the California Society of CPA's, AICPA and Financial Planning Association. He also serves on the Plan Giving Committee for the El Dorado Community Foundation and as a Board Member for El Dorado Arts Council and El Dorado Hills Little League. He is a former Board Member of the National Defined Contribution Council and Schwab Retirement Technology Group.
