About Us
Rick Fergerson, CPA, PFS, AIF is the Founder and CEO of Fergerson Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor firm.
Prior to owning Fergerson Financial, Rick was Senior Vice President of Franklin Templeton Investor Services LLC and Franklin Distributors, Inc. focusing on all retirement related services. He was also a Director/Vice President in Franklin Templeton Companies, LLC focusing on financial operations.
Rick has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1988 and has ten years of public accounting experience, primarily with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte Touche. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, emphasis in accounting.
Rick is married to Laura (also a CPA) and has two daughters, Marissa and Kathryn, and a son Matt. Rick is an avid golfer (still honing his skills) and enjoys tasting fine wines. When not in the office, you can often find him at the Yoga studio or in Pacific Grove, enjoying the beach.
